Good Luck, Bad Luck

This week was a perfect mix of bad luck and good luck. I spent a lot of money on new tires and an alignment, my AC broke during 90-degree weather, and I looked questionable all week until my eyebrows finally saved me. But then came Megan Moroney tickets, an unexpected payout, two great movies, and a birthday celebration complete with breakfast in bed, Cheesecake Factory, new Lululemon, and the cutest concert outfit.

 

I’m recapping the Megan Moroney concert, surviving life without AC, becoming a first-time kindergarten mom, and trying to process how quickly summer is ending. I also get into the Lindsey Clancy trial, my kids’ creepy fascination with death, sleepwalking, and my attempt to stop letting the little things get to me.

 

Plus, my current obsessions, budgeting advice I stole from the Inspired Budgeting podcast, and reviews of One Night Only and The Odyssey. And somehow, through all of this chaos, I’m trying to get back into a routine, celebrate eight years of marriage, and maybe try laminated brows.
